Chile

Patagonia is a rough and rugged land with breathtaking mountains and frontier. It is roughly the size of Washington, Oregon and California combined, with only 1.8 million people. Much of this area has yet to be explored, giving anglers a truly unique experience.

Coyhaique (coy-aye-kay; meaning land of lakes) is the capital of the Aysen Region and home to Coyhaique River Lodge. This area is located in Northern Patagonia, surrounded by the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Although civilization is close, when you are fishing one of the many locations, you feel like it is a world away.

The rivers we fish are similar to a classic western freestone, which are highlighted by their unique structure. This structure creates an incredible amount of prime holding spots and produce significant caddis and mayfly hatches. These rivers are also infamous for their hopper fishing, which anglers can experience mid-summer.

Along with these incredible rivers, spring creek options are also available in the remote ranchland areas near the Argentinian border. Many private still-water options are available near the Coyhaique River Lodge, which are highlighted by lakes of the Cerro Castillo area and are known for holding truly trophy trout. The diversity in fisheries makes fishing in this part of the world unmatched.

Delaware River

West Branch

Referred to as the birthplace of fly fishing in America, the rivers of the Catskill Mountains span the southeast region of New York.  Among this region, the Delaware River system, in particular, consists of three rivers: the East Branch,  the West Branch, and the main stem of the Delaware.

The resort is located along a 2-mile private section of the upper West Branch of the Delaware River. The true beauty of this location is the close proximity to so many incredible trout rivers.  These rivers are home to a diversity of bug life, which leads to some of the finest dry-fly fishing in the world.  Experiencing the overlapping emergences of insects will surely excite any angler. Nymph and streamer fishing are also very effective methods here.  Between the large rivers, big winds, and finicky wild fish, this system is sure to challenge any angler, making every fish landed here a true reward.

Alaska

Known as the “Salmon factory of the world”, the Bristol Bay region in Southwest Alaska covers over 40,000 square miles of pristine wilderness. Each year up to 40 million sockeye salmon return to this watershed, making it the world's largest salmon run. Bristol Bay offers five species of salmon: King, Sockeye, Chum, Pink and Silver Salmon along with 7 species of freshwater fish: Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, Dolly Varden, Lake Trout and Northern Pike.

Unlike most of the other Alaskan lodges, which can be found in a small town or village, Tikchik Narrows Lodge is totally isolated in the heart of the Wood Tikchik State Park. In fact, the closest connecting road system is over 300 miles away, however cars are not needed, as the only way to access the lodge is by float plane. Our neighbors are the undisturbed fish and wildlife which are abundant in this area. The rivers we fish produce about 75% of all the King salmon, Silver Salmon and Chum Salmon caught in this region. Nowhere else in the world will you find a greater variety and volume of sport fish than in Bristol Bay Alaska.
